In the meantime, look at some of mine (and one of my partner's)!

Her body is covered in black paint making sigils. Her head is framed by a golden spiky halo. The background is a nighttime forest scene. A full illustration of Lorelei, a red tiefling, tail ends in a hook, she has horse legs that are armoured and is dressed almost entirely in black. Her eyes are a striking yellow colour and her horns are both round like a ram and flatten on the top, hooking back and up. A painting of Dyn, my partner's character for Wrath of the Righteous campaign. She is a wizard, half-way through transforming into a gargoyle, her left arm up and clawed as it morphs to stone, her right hand on the rocks she's leaning on, also stone. The background is dark and gloomy, the world around red rocks. She wears simple clothing and has a thick cloak. She also has her familiar, a pigeon called Indigo, flying next to her. Sylvannas is a tiefling of insane height. They have deer-like legs, huge antlered horns, a nose with no bridge and look more fey with their long ears and teal eyes. Their clothing is loose fabrics, mostly teals and greens. their tail is long and has silver hair running along it, the ends of which also go teal. Their hair is also incredibly long and plaited, ending in a teal ombre.

I offer up Wraith, I have more specific refs but I'm a bit tired to find them all (second ref is more recent)

Their hair is tight curls, loose and a bit messy, long enough to frame their face. They have a tail that ends in a big floofy hair and his horns form a cresent shape above his head. He's 4ft 11 and his arc is to grow and learn and be better-- he is mean, full of rage at the world and really when you boil it down he's just a teenager who went through a lot and doesn't know how to handle it

I keep returning to Falliah-- 2024 I was much too exhausted to art, so there's nothing but simple references I made for myself

Yanien is a half-drow I made for wrath of the righteous, a flirty, traumatised fool who is trying so hard to atone and be better than they were and who I keep drawing with too few clothing
They've got too much trauma to know what to do with--

She was so fun to draw and I really loved working with her colours!

4/ such as the signs leading up to it, these notes I made for her as handouts for other players, this sheet of the sigils she draws on herself, an elixir which stopped the transformation which the DM made a whole sheet and recipe for, she has a series of after effects-- there's a lot there for her
Notes scrawled onto a worn looking page. They read: Elixer helps - must be taken quick - Potency dependent on the situation Onset: Painful. horns, face, blinding pain. Arms & ribs, unbearale. Tail feels wrong. Itching means minutes. Burning is imminent - too late. Dose seems to supress the effects, but may not be so successful forever. - Must eventually find something stronger, *permanent* (This might be needed sooner than thought) Afterwards: Painful, sore. Amnesia, confused, time is uncertain, bleary eyes. All of the ribs, horns, tail, fingers jaw and teeth sore, sensatice. Voice hoarse as if screamed. Often clothing is torn. Sometimes exhaustion sets in deep. Pain lasts a while, rest is needed. Certain situations trigger this, some more violently than others. The list grows as they are experienced, hard to predict each one. Causes are unknown. Divine intervention? Perhaps him - it is still there. This could help? Unconvinced. Magic is of limited help, cannot do much. Perhaps divine can help divine, if it is divine - difficult to try. 14 years - links back to him and divinity. Much is still unknown. Can only keep an eye for now. A worn looking aged page has symbols draw across it. Each one is labelled as the following: Protection- self. Protection- others. Warding- Bad spirits. Warding- beastial. Warding- malevolent entities. Hope. Energy.

I've used Adorkastock for so many years; they were the first ref images and site I ever looked into and I've honestly never gone back
My most recent piece using their work was this one, and without the ref I would never have been able to get the angles or hands right so thank you for what you do 💖

Nabiah's lil nose bump. If people remove it I will eat them. He is drawn to be an absolutely beautiful, stunning man and that includes his nose.

Yanien has ridiculously long hair and in their turn around I had to play with how long it would look untied and everytime I draw them their hair gets longer oops
The only time they really cut it was to get the undercut look
