Love the look of this fiber, but Etsy listing is missing a lot of detail. There is no yarn gauge listed. Also, no recommended needle/hook sizes. A knit/crochet swatch of your fiber worked up would also be helpful to see. It’s difficult to tell what it looks like with all the thick and thin areas.

You could also follow more accounts of knitters. If you check out @knitty.com - there are lists, “starter packs”, that you can see and follow.

Ahhh! I found the button you’re talking about. It exists within random feeds that I don’t follow. You might find it helpful to follow the actual #knitting feed.

This is still confusing to me. I’ve never seen a button that says “less like this” anywhere on Bluesky? You are referring to Bluesky, right? I’ve seen things like that on Instagram or Facebook, but not here.

There really are no algorithms here, so this is confusing. You can manually adjust your moderation preferences to remove everything you’re talking about. When I use your same search phrase, I don’t see anything unsettling. You can also choose to follow specific feeds for knitting that are curated.

Lots of bear here too. A mother and cub crossed the street ahead of me once when I was out walking. I didn’t move and waited. They continued on their journey.

Puffins (Machias Seal Island)
… and a Flying Squirrel (got in my house, so not quite in the wild, but I helped it get back outside.)

I often hear people complain @ finding VM in their yarn, but for me, I actually love seeing it there. It means that it came from a farm and connects me to where I purchased it from. I also find it as a moment for meditation as I either decide to leave it or carefully work it out from the fibers. 🧶💕
