On Google maps, whenever new satellite images replace old ones, the erasure can be seen side by side with the adjacent older photo. I don't know how frequently they update.

new project! i'm trying to keep it as simple as possible, but it's already planned to involve 3d noise weirdness, image-based game logic, society simulation and a language (go) i've never used before. wish me luck! never made an alien zoo before
