Amazing art of Aimi and Archard by @categerbasi.bsky.social!
Nothing like delving into the depths of your boyfriend's mind to help him "relax".

27. Ahriman Eternal by John French.
Good read though a bit of a drag seeing Ahriman fail upwards. Each chapter feels like one blunder after another with no real victory and more plotlines left hanging for the next story. The prose and scenery are a treat, but not enough to carry a whole narrative.

I don't write big boys enough so I snagged a ych from @gutgunk.bsky.social of my yeen Freddy here!
Poor guy is struggling to find clothes that fit these days~

26. Battletech: Marauder by Lance Scarinci.
A fantastic read. My first look into the Battletech universe with its spookiest mech and the tales of horrors it brought to the galaxy. I love the mix of genres you don't see very often and The Black Marauder being a character in its own right.

A new Samyah and Eda adventure out for the spooky season!
An an promise drags Samyah and her beloved triceratops wife Eda down into the depths of an ancient crypt.
A broken sword snapped by jagged teeth.
In the heart of the Tomblands, the dead do not sleep alone.

I haven't written much for Halloween, but I got a moody Samyah and Eda piece coming up tomorrow.

25. A Princess of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs
An enjoyable read. A fun fantasy romp through Mars. It's pretty predictable. Savage aliens, Earth man comes to save the day fair. You can really tell the author was of the early 1900s with his views of savagery and race, but despite that it was dumb fun

Haven't watched the video, but I'm hanging this thumbnail on my wall as a constant reminder.

Bit bummed that there isn't a lot of interest in the latest Samyah and Eda story. Which is fine, Sword & Sorcery is a niche, I get it. Doesn't mean I'm gonna stop making them. I love these little lesbians too much to let em go. ⚔️

24. Dying Earth by Jack Vance
Sadly couldn't bring myself to finish this one. The worldbuilding is phenomenal. A dreamlike Earth slowly revolving around a dying sun with wizards caught up in petty rivalries and mad with power. But there isn't much of a plot, switching characters chapter by chapter.

23. Elric: The Weird White Wolf by Michael Moorcock
The omnibus I got has this title for three short stories: The dreaming city, while the gods laugh, and the singing citadel.
These three stories are good on their own, but I found them a bit lacking compared to the grand scale of SoF.
Good reads.

22. Elric: The Sailor on the Sea of Fate by Michael Moorcock
Oh, Elric have I missed you~
This has to be my favorite Elric tale yet. A three acted story of him traveling through worlds beyond worlds, discovering his past and a slice of his destiny.
Wonderful, grand read! I loved it!

Wonderful Aimi pic from @tidywire.bsky.social!

21. The Traitor's Hand by Sandy Mitchell
Goodness, I am utterly fallen for these characters. Cain's relationship with his unit, his team, his friends (even if he's reluctant to call them that) shines bright through the grimdark.
A grand read. My favorite Cain story so far!

In light of Bluesky being stupid (again), I'm gonna write a chapter of dinosaur girls FUCKING their boyfriends dry!

20. Caves of Ice by Sandy Mitchell
I'm having a hard time letting Cain go. His antics with Jurgen and the rest of his battalion is endlessly entertaining. As the adventure goes on, Cain's lies build and build but he's just lucky enough to pull it all together and live to see another day.
Good read.

19: For the Emperor by Sandy Mitchell
40k slop brings you gems like Ciaphas Cain. A comedic character set against the grimdarkness of the setting makes a wonderful contrast. A coward through desperate planning and incredible luck is seen as the greatest hero the Imperium has ever known. Fantastic!
