Great night at The @wshed.bsky.social Bristol at the Friends & Family screening of GAME. Lots of local crew worked on the film. I think it was 3 years since we sat down in pub and started planning it.

It’s turned out great. Go see it in cinemas from Nov 21st.

Really enjoyed watching Power Station last night @wshed.bsky.social Inspiring stories about how a neighbourhood can come together & - despite all the obstacles - achieve something amazing while having fun along the way. Just the dose of positivity I needed!

We affirm that racism, hate and intolerance has no place in our venues or our city.

We invite anyone who is in the city centre and in need of a safe space on Sunday to find shelter in our venues. You do not need to buy anything. You are welcome for as long as you need.

In solidarity.

On Sunday, an anti-immigration demo is planned in Bristol City Centre, with protesters marching from the Cenotaph to College Green.

As city centre cultural venues, we stand together to celebrate the diversity of Bristol, and the creativity this contributes to our programme, workforce & communities.

This October, enter the world of Menelik Shabazz (1954-2021), a pioneer of Black British filmmaking. We had the privilege of welcoming him to @wshed.bsky.social in Bristol on several occasions so this strand is close to our hearts 💜
