I had that conversation with friends after we watched it lol, he seems very UK coded. I think its a combo of his name giving off aristocratic vibes and the fact that he talks as if a brit has perfected a midatlantic american accent. Was shocked to find out he’s from Oklahoma

100%. Sort of related, but this is why I think everyone should have to work at a customer service job at least once in their life. It’s an incredibly valuable skill to be able to keep your cool in the face of someone being an asshole, and to be able to resolve situations with unreasonable people

I would say that’s true in general and especially true when it comes to Americans. Stubbornness is a defining trait. That manifests in great ways (people standing up to ICE no matter the abuse they get for it) and in terrible ways (people becoming reactionary chuds because they got yelled at once)
