Working at home today so I had a pack of my Mamee Chef Laksa Kari noodles for lunch - thank you Ching Mei Lim. Made them a bit too soupy today but still delicious and had them Malaysian style with a fried egg on top.

Fantastic film - and a 9/10 from me. Ultra low budget zombie film (or is it a zombie film?). Anyway great to have a very thoughtful film in this genre that does not follow the normal tropes. Well worth a watch a prepares me for 28 years later on Sunday.

Nice drive to, and then walk around, Derwent Reservoir and Blanchland cross crossing between County Durham and Northumberland. Bit breezy but managed to miss the showers.

Never seen a Filipino menu before in a restaurant in Newcastle - actually in the UK. Will go for the Sisig next time we go to this restaurant. Used to have some tasty meals in Makati and the buffet in the old MO in Manila was excellent - as was the Jazz bar (and very sleazy).

Another day of marking - only 70/300 short answer questions to go on the Inspira Digital Paper Interpretation Excercise for the 2nd Year BMS students. Must admit it takes me longer to mark online than on a paper copy. Hopefully finished by the end of the day - if I stop mucking about on social media

Just watched the latest Volume of Love, Death and Robots. Was OK but have to say my favourite episodes are still, by far Volume 3, Jibaro and Volume 1, The Witness.
