Rob and Ryan this is why we have what you call "planning Red Tape." Out Conservation officer would have kittens if this was done to a historic building over here. I'm a critic of planning legislation it can cause nightmares but good grief if this is the alternative!
Trump: Take a look at this if you want to see detail. Most people do a sign and paint it on the wall. So that's half inch thick bronze. Carved. By a very talented person. And it's brass. It's pure brass.

We need a Prime Minister now who will back free speech, the freedom of the press and the freedom of judiciary. One that won't allow genocide or bigotry. One that wouldn't invite Trump for a Greggs let alone a state visit.

I've been practicing my response to Trump for when I become Director of the BBC please be critical but I've made a start. "Dear Donald you tried to steal the election and encourage rioting and our response to you is off and you may select any first word that you think approximate." Too strong?

I'm chuckling here the BBC is biased against women and is the Hammas broadcasting service! Throughout the Israel invasion we hardly heard from Gaza because you couldn't get in! We heard from some pretty hateful Israeli spokespersons. Bias against women is because of trans issues so again prejudice.
