When the single most cynical operator on the Democrats that isn't named Jeffries or Schumer is telling you "Don't worry. The Republicans are going to act in good faith" you're actively hearing the Republicans tell you that they're not going to do so.

Virtually nothing the "Deciding to Win" people frame as unpopular that is actually a policy point and not a strawman is actually unpopular with anyone but the far right. This is a handbook for reducing the difference between Democrats and Republicans which is a losing proposition.

Democrats hate the Left and want people to believe everything bad is Leftist policy. Donald Trump is the opposite of a Communist, but Harris is more like Trump than not. Both think Atlas Shrugged was a good guide for a society, and that's what brought us to the mess we're in.
