Like many critics have pointed out ... he based his career and writing on being able to do so much research and information gathering ... yet after many years he never took the time to definitively figure out his heritage a long time ago. Unbelievable.

It's an annual traditional for my friends from Iroquois Falls now, a northern former pulp and paper town. Always fun to watch new generations of singers and performers every year. Especially local folk singers and musicians.

Especially when Indigenous People lived with their system for thousands of years before colonialism and didn't destroy the environment .... maybe they did affect the environment a bit but not to the point of endangering life on the whole planet.

The day we contacted you to talk on the phone was a breath of fresh air for us in this crazy world. You're in our thoughts and prayers and wish you the best regardless of where things are.
