Most similar dialect cities marked are Milwaukee, WI, Seattle, WA, and Tacoma, WA. Orange-ish red areas span Alaska and Hawaii, most western states, the Upper Midwest, and most of upstate New York. Yellowish areas are most of the northeastern states, Florida minus the panhandle, New Mexico, and the Lower Midwest plus Michigan. The blue areas encompass almost all of the southern and mid-Atlantic states. Darkest blue areas are around Pittsburgh, PA, and New Orleans, LA.
