There’s two schools of thought. Either we as blacks have done enough, or the work is never finished and because other demos have woken up we should still be fighting. All I’ll say is that if you feel so inclined to do something, do something. The only nonnegotiable is voting.
This assumes that we never been part of said motion, which is categorically false to say we weren't. This sick desire to heave labor onto Black people, a group that has always done its part by and large, is not helpful and comes off far too expectant.
And people need to stop making disengaging cool! Especially Black people. It's not cool you're partying & line dancing totalitarianism away. Being more vulnerable means act more, not less. It's not about shouldering white people's burdens, it's being part of the motion that transforms your world.

More like if we enter a shutdown they’ll weaponize the time they took to rewrite the budget as a way to paint the Dems in a negative light. No one will care how long it took and how close to the deadline they were. “The Dems are keeping your checks away” is the play.
If we enter a shutdown, Congressional Republicans would weaponize their majorities to cherry-pick which parts of government to reopen.

It’s been the last days for a while now but honestly what we’re witnessing is how ppl are without God and guidance. When turned over to our own desires we tend to go in this direction. Every civilization and empire has fallen in this same manner.
