I decided the Vampire level doesn't have enough variety so I've added these guys to spice things up.

If we get all the audio done + some NPC scripting this dungeon could have a playable demo soon so stay tuned :)

Not every enemy needs to have their head pop off at half health and shoot homing lasers outta their eyes
Sometimes I just wanna make a funny little guy I can put 10 of in a room without an issue. And I wanna call him "HELMORT"

My game, blessed, heroic, innovative: Land 5 attacks in a row in the same direction to summon an extremely cool freezing wind that makes enemies more vulnerable to damage

COOL SWORD. Throw spinning scythe projectile, skilfully stop the scythe on top of enemies for massive damage.

...Except it was WAY WAY WAY too strong. So you have to go pick up the Scythe to throw it again.

I love optional rooms because they let me make evil anxiety inducing room layouts like this. I love making evil shit so much

The addition of the breakable cover mechanic had made this dungeon WAY more dynamic and interesting.

The Harpies were really overwhelming before, but now you can split them up for an advantage, and take them out before they break through your cover. It's really fun

I mean yeah I guess that is a pretty weird harpy

Now that I'm done building the early game I finally get to make some REAL boss fights. Real EVIL stuff
