Read @nicolefoy.bsky.social's investigation that prompted the congressional probe.

We found that agents had detained >170 Americans this year. More than 20 citizens said they were held for at least a day without being able to contact a lawyer or their loved ones.

I was raised by a narcissist. After years of therapy, I learned the only way to handle them is to cut off their ability to abuse you and lie their way out of taking responsibility. Take away their perceived power, and they realize they have no power.

Follow up: it doesn’t say it’s illegal to fire on incapacitated shipwrecked. It just says it’s illegal to fire on the shipwrecked. Where’d you get “incapacitated” and why are you such an asshole?
Q: "The Pentagon's Law of War manual…says 'Orders to fire upon the shipwrecked would be clearly illegal.' Given that, how was that follow up strike on the two survivors legal?"

Tom Cotton: "They were not incapacitated… They were sitting or standing on top of a capsized boat."

Prosecutors have a constitutional and ethical obligation to turn over evidence that would support a person’s claim of innocence to their attorney.

Too often, they fail to do so even when life and death are at stake.
