disagree "people don’t reliably listen to full albums" though.

it's not the majority but there's a very big audience for engaging with music on the album level... it just will always be smaller than the people who hit "shuffle play" on playlists so companies stopped caring

well the use case there isn't like Letterboxd where you "log" a diary/review for songs, more surfacing activities being a useful social aspect.

Some other platforms had album-level comments but got phased out because social features became seen as "power user" stuff.

to be fair, no music streaming app has figured this out either. it sucks.

RDIO (rip) was right there; comments/reviews left on albums, an activity feed of what albums your friends have been saving to collection, their heavy rotation, popular with friends section, their discussions on albums etc.

It's so good. I hope it doesn't come off as me being hard on it by saying it's the third best album from them lol... it's still fantastic.

I give out 99% good stuff, but get a single small bag of the Molasses Kisses to sprinkle in there. that way they get good candy, and an opportunity to learn about the disappointment that is the molasses kiss

I wish they were available on Tubi in Canada! Hopefully some day
