Today, I had the honor of attending Rev. Yong Xeng Yang's funeral. His 50+ years as a pioneer in the Hmong Christian community speak to his dedication. An incredible educator, his wisdom touched countless lives. Forever gone, but your legacy will live on. Rest in Peace.

This was once a dream. Today it’s a reality. I’m proud during my time at the Hmong American Center, I secured funding to teach & preserve our traditional Qeej. With so few people today who still know how to play this instrument, programs like this are more important than ever.

What an incredible honor to join the Hmong Committee of 100 for their 50 Years of Progress Gala this weekend. A room of 1,100+ political, business, education, and nonprofit leaders from across the community came together to celebrate Hmong success, Truly a remarkable night!
