a question to the folks with naturally deep voices who can also hit a higher register, what techniques help you to not strain your throat so that you can maintain the higher register for a long time?

one thing I’m really proud of while auditioning is my conscious attempt to not make it sound like I’m reading off the script, and to allow the read to have those “human touches”. whether it’s working, only time will tell 😂.

the world is burning, so im gunna dream even harder. i've wanted to be a creative since i was young, but was steered into a non-creative path (hence me being an ex pre-med student lol).

but we're here now, and we're doin it!

finally realizing that my noise floor is incredibly low at night….so naturally….that is when I will have to start auditioning and recording (if possible).

I tell yah, some things you only learn until your “in the field”. I was just told “the barks are ready”, and I sat in bed for a good 15 minutes wondering when the heck did I audition for a dog role 😂😂?

Don’t worry I looked up “VO barks” eventually.

Set a goal for myself to audition for atleast 15 projects this month! As of today, the goal has been met 🙂‍↕️ but we ain’t stoppin there 🙂‍↔️!
