Also I got this in the mail today. Kickstarter backed comic by Merlin (https://linktr.ee/merlin_art) with an original illustration just for me 🥰

Can’t wait to read.

Das Setting ist recht absurd aber das ganze erinnert in positivem Sinne an Klassiker wie Dragon Ball und Ranma 1/2. An die kommt es zwar nicht ran, aber gerade der 2. Teil ist lustig und kurzweilig. Mit den Charakteren würde ich mir was Längeres wünschen.

Die Braut der Sirenen - Ivana Murianni, Zanuse
Hat auf jeden Fall Atmosphäre und schöne Zeichnungen, aber die Charaktere sind einfach nur Steoretypen die mir überhaupt nichts sagen. Ein klarer Fall von starker Grafik und mauer Story.

Ich will den Inhalt hier nicht kleinreden - die Stories haben eine extrem hohe Qualität und es fiel mir wieder schwer mich für das Voting auf 3 Favoriten zu beschränken.
Heute erst mal noch Reviews der Kurzgeschichten die auf Band 1 und 2 aufgeteilt wurden (was ich wie gesagt blöd fand).

Von der Strategie, Sidestories zu (in manchen der teilnehmenden Länder…) etablierten Stories zu bringen und so deren Fans zum Kauf zu bewegen bin ich auch kein Fan. Ich mochte es schon in Daisuki damals nicht wenn man dort nur die ersten Kapitel einer Serie lesen konnte und dann gab es den Rest […]
