Victory is won. The Saltire becomes the flag of a new nation: Scotland.

It is the oldest national flag in Europe and across the Commonwealth.

It's the 30th of November, when St. Andrew is said to have been crucified on the diagonal cross.

Fast forward a few years and in 832, Pictish King Angus (or Hungus) is standing with a few Picts and Scots to battle the invading Northumbrians.
