This They Might Be Giants TONIGHT SHOW performance of "Birdhouse In Your Soul" from 1990 remains firmly lodged in my noggin thanks to the Tonight Show Band's full commitment and Doc Severinsen's incredible trumpeting... It took an already great song and made it transcendent.

"a single person of this demographic may have committed a crime, therefore we must punish the entire demographic" is a policy response you may recognize from fascist governments dedicated to ethnic cleansing elsewhere.
It didn’t even take 6 hours.

Bravo, @melissajacobs.bsky.social for this one. Jameis Winston is a lot less fun if you're a woman.

And that Gotham isn't an 8th seed if Lavelle is healthy all season, or Midge, or if they acquired Shaw earlier, etc, etc.
berman keeps using that dumb line that the reason an 8 seed is facing a 2 seed in the championship is the salary cap, and it is driving me crazy. i would argue that a far more accurate reason is because the league sucks at protecting players like banda and chawinga on and off the pitch.

In April 2009, the Washington Post asked 10 writers to make the case for something that deserves to be tossed out as part of "spring cleaning."

I chose Larry Summers.

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

I think it’d be corking if the debate about reopening the government centered that government invading and abducting its people in Chicago, LA, Portland and elsewhere. This is something I’d expect an opposition leader to do especially when these horrors are not reaching a lot of the country

Literally the one place in the country where Democrats got their clock cleaned was in the home county of state chair who refused to endorse Mamdani and has generally overseen a string very poor democratic performances.
Has New York Democratic Party chairman Jay Jacobs resigned over Mamdani yet? I hope he hasn't, so that he can instead resign over *improving Republican margins over Trump 2024 in an anti-Republican wave election*. Trump won Nassau by just 4%—now look at this bloodbath
