iirc this project is going to have some hotel, too! that's so exciting to me! what a great location! I've heard before that there is only one other hotel in West Seattle.

tbh I would be much more inclined to give money to Cascade if they were doing something like that

could be a Cascade endeavor - to help bring social bike people together where they live, by providing materials similar to a bike valet

could be like Eastside Urbanism - providing a mobile hangout spot for people to socialize about the built environment (or whatever else they want to socialize about)

could be like Coffee Outside - providing a once-a-week cozy third space for people who are in the same place at the same time, and probably hosted by people with cargo bikes

this could form in the Admiral Church "Bear Island" before it is demolished. lots of space and people who want to do stuff together.

could even go nonprofit or mutual aid - the group provides these things for Food Not Bombs setups or similar, perhaps renting for cash to support their mutual aid work

smallest scale would be just developing a group of people who share a collection of street party materials like canopies and fire pits and whatever else would make an on-street Halloween party enjoyable.

tbh someone plz put this in one of those empty micro storefronts on California near Admiral?
