*deep inhale of dusty breath* What year is it??

After six months away following my dad’s passing, I’m slowly returning.

This new painting is about childhood, featuring the boy from my Starboy piece.

If you had a key to return to your childhood… would you take it?

And to everyone buying brushes from me right now, thankyouthankyouthankyou. I just had to cancel a bunch of my work to be with my dad, so I am so grateful for the extra income 💜

I still love this little painting. It was my first time drawing my giant moth motifs so it holds a special place for me 😊✨

I think this painting has a wintery feel. What do you reckon? I've got to paint more stars and twinkly things. I'm in the mood for them ✨

Detail for my painting "Floating". I love juicy close-ups.

Something more detailed I painted a few months ago. I wasn't entirely happy with it, but I wanted to do something more ambitious than what I usually paint! ✨

Little painting I did this year. I loved painting this fabric so much! ✨

Oh, springtime... 🌸 Missing it a little right now. The warmth, the tiny flowers, that fresh air. What about you? What do you miss most about it during winter? 🌷💭

I painted this a while ago, but I still think it holds up even if it's a bit bloody 🐦

Throwback to this painting I made 🍑✨ I just wanted an excuse to draw peaches - who doesn’t love their soft colours? I also tried to capture the feeling of golden summer heat and carefree days.

Should I paint more fruit?

My favourite painting from this year ✨ I didn't get to paint as much I wanted to, but I'm glad I finished this one. My favourite part is the little tear on her cheek, which surprisingly few people notice

Sometimes I try new styles! I still like this little painting from last year ✨ #art

Missing the warmth of the sun lately? Same here! That’s why I wanted to share this summery painting with you all. I painted this many years ago, but I still like it ✨ Sometimes it’s nice to revisit work from the past and see how it still resonates. 🌿🌻

I don’t often share the book covers I work on, but I couldn’t resist showing this one since the author has revealed it now! ✨

The cover for I AM NOT JESSICA CHEN by Ann Liang is one of my absolute favourites that I worked on last year.

A little study I made a few years ago that turned into a bigger painting. This was where I discovered how much I enjoyed painting fabric. There's something very satisfying about getting a piece of fabric just right. I still can't paint good-looking fabric without reference, though, haha ✨ #art

Big splashy tears. Another old painting, but it seems apt right now #art

This painting ended up with these colours by accident 😂 but, I went with it because it looked cool #art

I love drawing moths. I'm kind of afraid of them though 🦋 #art

While things feel uncertain, staying true to human creativity is so important. Artists have the power to bring something irreplaceable into the world—our thoughts, feelings, and perspectives. Let’s keep going with the imperfect beauty of human art, and continue connecting in ways only we can🎨✨ #art
