Still very much a work in progress, but it's fun to have this much together.

It's never too early to start celebrating!

S4U CITYPUNK 2011 AND LOVE PUNCH by U0U Games lets you play the role of a mouthpiece, having difficult conversations for your clients so they don't have to. The tactile feeling of using the computer makes my brain sparkle, the world a sampling of online censorship police and sentient AI friends.

Blue Bird's Song is a beautifully animated game by @purple-meadows.bsky.social. Filled with bucolic simile and metaphor, the story reads like the fairytale version of a old-timey ballad. Follow a trio of sisters as they navigate love, dreams for the future, and the oppression of an archaic society.

Summer at the Edge of the Universe, another by @vnstudioelan.com. We follow Summer, a listless girl looking for the rock to build her future on. A fantastic celestial event brings back old forgotten friends, and offers new opportunities. Somehow they keep hitting PEAK character design over and over.

Arcade Spirits by @fictionfactorygames.com takes place in a cyberpunk future where old-fashioned arcade machines are still mainstream. Help bring children joy (often at the expense of you and your coworkers) making this little corner of the megalopolis run, and maybe find love along the way?

A list of choices the player can respond with that helps determine their personality. The options are "This is every kid's dream come true!" (Quirky), "I'm willing to take this seriously." (Steady), "I'm looking for hope after so long" (Kindly), "Eh, why not? Let's do this!" (Gutsy), and "I can go with the flow" (Basically).

Last one for today, Our Home, My Keeper by @ebihimes.bsky.social/@vnstudioelan.com. Like Elan's previous work it's nostalgic and heartwarming, lingering on the relationships we form with our most special inanimate objects: from a desk, to a doll, to a home. It also has the most ADORABLE MC design.

Niamh crafts them herself, from scratch, working long into the night. I don't know all the specifics which go into her dolls, but the period of gestation from conception to finished product takes, at the very least around three months. This might be a shorter pregnancy than most, but it's more intense, in a sense. More expensive, too.

And then there's Magical Warrior Diamond Heart (18+!) from
@diamondheartvn.bsky.social (of COURSE played the magical girl one)! It's notable for its art and UI design, adorable while also managing to stay clean and informative. Fans of the classics like Sailor Moon and Sakura should check this out.

One of my favorites so far, "Distant Oceanic Getaway" by @redbeantaiyaki.bsky.social. It has a neat personality system where your choices determine the type of person you are, which in turn determines what path you go down/who you end up with.

This game will UNAPOLOGETICALLY call you a bottom. 😆

On July 2025, Steam, a popular storefront to purchase games on PC, and itch.io, a storefront that sells games, comics, tools, resources and much more, have recently delisted several NSFW games, after the group Collective Shout published an open letter to payment processors such as Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and more. As a result of this letter, payment processors have strongarmed Valve and itch.io.

Collective Shout's actions have pushed payment processors to force both Valve and itch.io to delist NSFW games, which has overreached into delisting several games using sensitive topics for artistic purposes and LGBTQ+ games. Collective Shout has already demanded the removal of mainstream AAA games such as Detroit : Become Human and Grand Theft Auto 5, wrongfully claiming that these games are exclusively about violence against women.
