I can't recall if I had difficulty in the quest itself other than the narrative heaviness of it (which I enjoyed the tension with the stakes at play), it's rare for a quest to be that memorable to me.

I think it's fine to get comfortable with the fact that things wear and tear from use as they age. Small scratches don't bother me anymore

On the other hand: devices with wear and tear from use are full of personality and a "lived" existence. They were more than a thing collecting dust on a shelf or a drawer.
