Waging war against pop music is something Adorno and the Gores share in common!

NGL it’s pretty crazy to hear Al Gore quote Adorno and reference Habermas (though he uses the past tense as if he’s dead)

Al Gore ripped the Trump administration to shreds in a speech Monday at a climate week event in San Francisco.

People will be awakened by radio alarm clocks and baldness will be almost universal
The average man of 2025 will be awakened by a radio alarm clock. He will take a few minutes of radio light treatment to keep fit and alert for the business day. Little time will be wasted in putting on his synthetic felt one-piece suit and his hat -- the latter being worn almost continuously owing to the fact that baldness will be almost universal then.

Second, the GOP does not hold a monopoly on materialism. Trump’s status as a celebrity businessman lent credibility to his materialist campaign message. Less so for Romney’s businessman persona. Dems could have run a campaign that was both progressive and materialist 8/8
