Stopping Duolingo when I hit 2000. Hitting my birth year made me realize than I don’t know if I want to relive the decline of my mental health, by each day being a year. Also I am entirely against their massive push for AI but wanted to end on a milestone, and 2000 seems perfect to close the book.

A lot of people come into the games industry and pretty soon develop a cynical attitude that the industry is largely run by business guys who don't know a thing about video games. It's only after a few years and some seniority that you realize that those guys don't know shit about business either.

It makes sense that over half of America fell for a con; like the man is a career con man, that’s their entire schtick! Horrible politician, however, unfortunately a very good con man.

Mario Kart World is really fun, I think I miss the slightly more designed tracks of the past, but I think I’m having more fun than I have in the past just zooming around. I imagine Nintendo will find a way to add more tracks at some point. Also baby Rosalina.
