When I was a teenager 12 Angry Men came on TV and I expected to be bored to tears and walk away after 10 minutes but god damn if that isn't such a good movie, loved it.

Don't go to Hunter's March until you've got more options, imo the platforming is the easiest part of that area, so I recommend holding off until quite a bit later.

Some people'll crucify me for this but I installed the mod that lets me save and recall to locations, basically porting over the dreamgates from HK. Saves me so much frustrating over runbacks to bosses.
I want to love this game, so if I have to tarnish the intended experience so be it.

Yeah that's a bit harder to get past. I guess as long as the subject is still interesting I'd say to persist and hope it gets better after some time. And perhaps after your studies you'll work with people who are more open.

If comparison to your peers is the only reason for doubt I wouldn't really worry about it, everyone handles these things or carries themselves differently. I'm not exactly "excited" about my job, but I still like it because I think most alternatives are worse haha.

Thank you for sharing, it was great reading along.
When it first started (must be a couple years ago, now?) I didn't expect it to go from some wacky antics of a creepy neighbor to a plot-heavy crime drama, but it all worked very well.

Kinda agree, although Contradictions Collapse only has a few tracks I really dig and Destroy Erase Improve is still one of their weaker albums imo.
Like, I love Koloss (might be my fav), but it feels like everything after is just them trying to remake that album over again, it gets kinda boring
