That’s why as of now this stinks, it’s two very extreme and contrasting outcomes. 😂 If they win, we’ll all party like today didn’t happen. Exactly why I try and talk X’s and O’s far more than blaming a manager/coach every time a player chokes or doesn’t execute. Try hitting home runs like you did all season, stop leaving men on base, every arm Dan threw out their immediately gave up a jack. They choked, that simple... Win on Friday.

Hell, after watching the entire gameplay out the bats were just as much to blame... So many guys left on base when the game was going smoothly for them. They could’ve put it away early and had an easy series win. Now they have to do the impossible, in front of the fans, to avoid a huge choke job.

Couldn’t agree more, I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen an entire group choke as hard as this team did today. Obviously, it’s natural to know that you want to win today because the odds are definitely against you on Friday. In front of the home crowd. Against a great pitcher. So much pressure. 🤞🏼 #GoMs

And yet every arm he brought in imploded, immediately getting jacked into the drink. Plus, all of the men left on base when it was going smoothly. This is simply a choke job by a group of players that knew they needed to win today to avoid a (possible) colossal collapse in front of the home crowd.

Can’t hit or pitch, this could be one of the most colossal choke jobs we’ve ever seen. Not just this game, the entire series. If they can’t beat Skubal for a fourth time, which I’d bet good money on they can’t (especially with the pressure of the home crowd), it would be the worst ending ever. #GoMs
