I caught up on some tv streams I like. Read a book. Took a good nap. Walked my dog. Did some laundry. Played a video game. Had a good restful day. No shopping.

I have never shopped in what is called Black Friday. I'm 64 and I would rather stick hot pokers in my eyes than go out shopping on the day after Thanksgiving. I am super frugal all year round. And only buy what I need.

I live in a northern state with very cold winters. I am keeping my thermostat as low as possible, to keep my pipes from freezing, and not a smidge higher. I wear multiple layers and socks and use one ceramic heater near my couch when I am sitting. Then turn it off to go to bed. The cost is horrible
