I went into it with low expectations, but enjoyed it more than I expected. Not a great comic book movie, but I’d say a solid 3/5. One of those points is for the future-retro style, which I admit I’m a fan of.

Voting for trump is a litmus test. It indicates an incurable, systemic malfunction in the voter in question. It shows a lack of critical thinking. It shows a predilection towards authoritarianism, racism, misogyny, and idol worship.

It is impossible to extricate the vote from the voter.

The mental illness is in thinking that there’s no consequences for being a Nazi, and I don’t mean that as hyperbole. Don’t be surprised when people hold you accountable for your actions. Even family. I feel lucky that my parents are Democrats who hate Trump and what the GOP has become.

My fundamental issue with this post is that you think Wicked is a true story.

Some types of mics have something called "the proximity effect," where low frequencies get more pronounced as they get closer to the source. If something sounds too boomy, move it away, if something sounds too thin, move closer. A good singer/speaker can "learn" to manipulate the sound this way.

I saw him once in the 90s… he was fine. No warm up band. He was off the stage in under an hour. They sounded good, but it sort of felt like he was going through the motions and couldn’t wait to get off the stage.

I think the bullet was meant to miss everyone and his blood was faked. That much blood doesn’t come out of a wound that’s gone in a few days. I hate conspiracy theories, but this doesn’t make sense at all.

Less than a week later, he was walking around with an exposed ear that showed zero signs of trauma. I cut my shin earlier that same day, and I can still see some evidence of it, and I’m considerably younger and in far better shape than Trump.

You can probably find it being sold for very little. If you don't want to own it, you can always just donate it to a library afterwards.

See, “Supe’s a good dude,” is about as flat a character as can be. Even Gunn plays with the character in that way. I think a more interesting character is a Superman who’s always having to fight to be good.
