Ange Friera draws with a a thin, textured line and uses a color palette primarily of browns, oranges, and grays- except for later in the story when the colors shift to blues, pinks, and maroons.

The view starts outside of a residential building, just barely showing a person sitting on their couch on the other side of the window. The point of view jumps to the main character, who is looking at the TV remote in their hand, with the cuff of their thick brown hoody pulled up to their wrist.

"Oh, it's out!" From behind their shaggy red hair, the viewer sees that the main character has a movie menu open on their wide TV screen.

"'The Maestro'?" Calls a voice from the next room.

"Yeah, c'mere!" The red-headed person replies, gesturing at the screen. For the first time we can see that they are a non-binary masc person with a light orange skin tone, round eyes, and multiple facial piercings and wearing a big thick hoody. They are holding a throw pillow against their chest while browsing the offerings on TV.

"Oh, shoot. Hold on!" The voice from the other room calls back.

Now popping their head in through the door with a towel slung over their shoulder, they continue, "I wanna shower first. Wait for me?" They have black hair that swoops over and past their shoulder, with the sides of their head shaved. Their skin tone is slightly darker than the other character's, and their eyes are almond-shaped.

"Only if you don't take forever!" Laughs the red head.

Cautiously, the black haired person offers, "You know... You're always welcome to join me. ...If you're feeling up for it."

"O-oh." The red head hugs their pillow more tightly to their chest, a nervous expression falling over their face. "..I don't know..." Beads of sweat roll down their cheek.

From off panel, the red head continues, "I just... don't feel comfortable in my body yet... Maybe after the surgery...?"

"Hey, hey..." The black haired partner interjects, waving their hands quickly as if to wave away their initial suggestion. "It's alright, baby. Don't worry about it." They're trying to be reassuring but their brows are knitted.

From their tight little ball on the couch, the red head replies, "... Okay..." without making eye contact.

"I'll be quick!" The partner says, blowing a little kiss before disappearing through the door.

A pink banner unfurls across the bottom of the page, stating "Read the rest on OhJoySextoy.com"

Like I'm sorry I do not understand why I should give a crap about the consent of fictional characters. Use this effort to give censoring tools, educate people about the difference between fiction and real life. Consent in real life is a MUST, but you can't depict the reason for the fiction to exist

Dastardly Devil illustrates his comic in a cartoony style with thin lines and a color palette of plums and pinks.

In a dark room, a woman sits at her desk, illuminated by the glow of her monitor and idly tapping away on her keyboard. In the background we can see faint lines indicating a window with curtains, a door, and X-cross complete with handcuffs attached to the topmost arms. Very subtly behind her, the silhouette of a creature with pointy little ears and maroon colored devilish eyes sneaks up. It could be a cat.

The camera angle shifts just behind the toothy maw of the creature, which salivates as it approaches the behind the woman at the computer.

And then- it strikes! With a CHOMP the dog-sized devil creature bites down onto the resting arm of the woman, who shrieks in surprise and horror.

The two figures are enveloped in a cartoon dust cloud as they roll into a silly fight for survival, with only their appendages and pain stairs extending outside the cloud.

"Oh, hi there! I'm Dastardly Devil." Greets a maroon-skinned devil cis man wearing jeans and a t-shirt. He smiles jovially in spite of being pinned on his stomach by his girlfriend, who is fuming as she straddles his back with her hand gripping around the back of his neck. "This is my partner Gabby." He continues with a friendly wave, referring to the trans woman with light pink skin, long, wavy brown hair, jeans, and, through a tear in her long-sleeved crop-top, you can see she's got a big scrape on her elbow. Her free hand is in a fist and cocked back, ready to deliver another punch. Little stars of pain sparkle by his neck, where her other hand digs in with her nails.

Completely unbothered by his predicament, Dastardly Devil announces to the reader, "We'd like to talk a bit about PRIMAL PLAY!" Little stars festoon the last two words.

As Dastardly Devil and his girlfriend tussle, he explains, "The way I define primal play is any play that centers on basic physical urges in BDSM. Things such as clawing, biting, chasing, wrestling, playfighting, etc. Think of two dogs playing! That kind of vibe. The difference with pet play is that we're not roleplaying a specific animal. We're just letting our own urges lead!" Off to the side of the page, a human in a leather pup mask and bondage harness "Woof!"s happily as a hand pets them on the head. Little hearts emanate around them.

Holly bear sits at a nature vista, looking out and up

Husburr approaches Hollybear and asks "Hey are you ok?" he seems concerned because she is just sitting and staring so hard. She holds paw like 'wait a second' as a leaf detaches from a branch above her.

Holly bear does a huge gasp as the first leaf falls from the tree right infront of her.

"Oh I'm fabulous!" Hollybear replies belatedly to Husburr's inquiry, walking off with a scarf on, a pumpkin spice latte in one hand and a Halloween decorated tore on the other arm. Husburr face-plams asking "Where did yo- ugh never mind".

I'm very much enjoying karate but holy hell I feel so SLOW.

I know I should concentrate on my own progress & take my time but it's hard in a group where (almost) all the other ppl are more experienced.

Can't help thinking about martial arts comedies. 🤣
