Lyria and Astarion had been staying for a few days at Gale's home in Waterdeep seeking information about the latest source on a way to help Astarion walk in the sun.

Late one evening Lyria and Gale are in quiet discussion as they walk along the corridor towards the library, entering the room through the open doorway. They look up and see Tara curled up on Astarion's lap, purring up a storm as he pets her. Both realise they've been spotted at the same time and fly apart, him trying to casually lean on the edge of the sofa, her intensely cleaning her paw sitting on the opposite arm.
Lyria smirks and whispers to Gale, "I see the cats are finally getting along."
"Tara is not a... actually, for once I think I'll let that one pass."

In unison, a glare and a protest from both ends of the sofa:

"I AM NOT A CAT!"

I love Nova, I really do, but I feel like I made them just to exist for Gale and I just can't figure them out. I should've just stuck to Deianira because they're my very first D&D OC from a few years ago, that I threw into BG3.. but I wanted to romance Gale and Deianira didn't feel right for that.
