And you know what that means!
That's right, it's LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar time!
Day 1: possibly the smallest thing ever put in a LEGO Advent Calendar.
Can you see it?
ENHANCE!
It's Babu Frik, everyone's favorite diminutive droidsmith!

In the dream, I'm part of the team as The Ultimator, and my weapon is a metal version of this toy, with hard rubber rockets instead of soft foam ones.
I trip bad guys by shooting the rockets in their legs, then I beat them up.

I wonder what t-shirt I should wear...
Oh, of course!

Well, you know, there's a bunch. But the worst one is definitely the "Dragon" from Space:1999's "Dragon's Domain" episode (1975).
That and the Megazone 23 Part 2 anime OVA cemented my lifelong hatred of tentacle creatures.

I added the side panels and strung up the christmas lights, and let me tell you, they're just as much of a pain in the ass to put up as real ones.

For the holidays, there's a Winter Sangria flavor I'm quite fond of. It tastes like fruit salad.
It was sold in 1-liter bottles, then disappeared for a while.
It's back in cans! $3.79 for an 8-pack. I can take these to work!

It now has feet!
One last bag remains, for the body panels and decorations. I'll try to finish it tomorrow.

I completed Bag #3, the legs.
There are 2 bags left, and the next one is for the feet.

I'm French. The neighbors are Belgian.
Anyway, price went up.
$11 last year, $14 this year.
Still worth it!

The top hatch opens and you can put Vader at the controls.
Oh crap, I forgot the left candy cane cannon!
Anyway, the head is fixed in place. No traversing or elevating.

There are 5 bags in total.
There's a fireplace with a teeny Death Star inside, a chair and little table for Vader's cup & saucer, and a couple of presents in back.

That first one is a Ford. No, really.

Yes, that purple car is the 1986 Dodge M4S Turbo Interceptor concept. It was used as a pace car for CART races, then starred in the movie "The Wraith".

This one is very special to me because I had a toy of it. It's the 1972 BMW Turbo concept. The front and rear have hydraulic shock absorbers and can be easily replaced after a crash. It has gullwing doors.
The Turbo inspired the design of the original BMW M1, seen here as an art car.

So here are some to start with. The Lancia Stratos Zero concept, the Stratos they actually made (rally queen!), the legendary Lamborghini Countach, and the Maserati Khamsin.
