Me too. 😊

I can photograph the crows in Zurich easily as they come very close - but my neighbourhood crows who I've been feeding since about 2018 won't come anywhere near me if they see that I've got the camera 😅

I've never used flash on the crows before. I'm sure they would hate me for it if I did 😅

🤣 Oh no

I still see it at the lake. Occasionally, one will beg for food from its parent but they just ignore it. George is still living with his parents. It's now been 2.5 years. I think they hate him. If I feed him, they attack him and try to take his food 😄

My local crows are normally OK but they have been known to make a racket when they want to be fed

Funnily enough, when I heard this story, I had to go out and see it for myself but the nest was empty. It's very close to the airport and from time to time, I cycle around the airport just to get some exercise. Hopefully, it'll return.

And so patient 😊

I have the same issue with my phone's camera. Some people can work wonders with them - but not me. Your picture isn't bad at all 😊

We have the same situation here. Lots of kites (both red and black), and buzzards. I used to live in Lincoln but wasn't interested much in birds then but still miss some of the birds you don't get here like thrushes and barn owls. Ravens are fantastic birds and I hope I see them again soon.

I'm still working on these guys. A few days ago, there was a huge commotion and they all just flew off. The guys at the lake would never leave me standing there like an idiot with my peanuts and camera 😅

They will love you for it. Especially as it gets colder
November 22, 2025 at 3:37 PM
They really do. Cocky little things 😅
November 22, 2025 at 3:36 PM
Clever birds but they shouldn't annoy the others that are (usually) patiently waiting 😅
