An annual Bastille Day 5K hosted by DC Road Runners on the C&O Canal Towpath, starting at Fletcher's Cove. The flat, shaded course yields age-group awards in 10-year bands and welcomes members free, others $10. A community midweek race celebrating July 14 in a scenic DC setting.
