Good article from Edsall on Mamdani and impressed with how he says his thinking was changed by the evidence. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/11/o...

Will @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social be able to turn his ambitious agenda into public policy?

I spoke with Dean Fuleihan, Mamdani's newly-named First Deputy Mayor and a seasoned veteran of New York politics, on what to expect when he takes office in January. youtu.be/xgLTZ0Da-gw?...

"Como progresista, recelo de Mamdani. Dudo si el recién elegido alcalde de Nueva York es el mejor antídoto contra el trumpismo o su mayor energizante." Escribo sobre las (muchas) ventajas y (algunas) desventajas del modelo Mamdani: elpais.com/opinion/2025...

The thing about Mamdani is that he’s a talented politician but not otherworldly or one in a billion, he’s just a competent guy with popular ideas who ran against an entitled piece of shit and to me it’s a lot more optimistic to imagine 1000 campaigns like his than to view him as a unique phenomenon

Don't miss this beautiful essay: "Mamdani’s is an aesthetic of familiarity... That is the magic of him, the trick of his demeanor... I recognize this Ugandan-born man, raised by Indian parents in New York City. So many of us do. I am from you, and for you." www.nytimes.com/2025/11/09/o...

The Mamdani movement added two crucial ingredients: anger and moral purpose — and in so doing actually expanded the electorate itself.

Nationally, every single one of Zohran Mamdani's policies has higher "strong support" than "strong opposition." But tell me again how pro-worker policies only work in NYC.

I wrote about what I see as the real lesson of Mamdani's victory: not that Democrats needs to move left (or right, for that matter), but that they should try to build real-world relationships with normal voters. publiccomment.blog/p/mamdani-th...

An Israeli Jew who lives in New York City openly supported Zohran Mamdani. The backlash taught a painful lesson about our divided politics.
