That this bunk made it into WaPo is not-so-subtle proof of paper's BillionaireBezos-skew. It treats as self-evident that nat'l debt can be lowered only by cutting gov't expenditure, w/ no mention of raising revenue by increasing taxes...on anyone.

Like corporations.

Or, say, rich people.

In honor of canceling my #BillionaireBezos @washingtonpost.com subscription, I purchased an @bostonglobe.com digital subscription instead and its amazing! Such good content, and, unlike @nytimes.com, they let you see the front page of the paper. Highly recommend!!

Democracy might die in darkness, but the WaPo's ability to see through the murk is editorially compromised. With #BillionaireBezos overriding the editorial staff on the Presidential pick and now a rejection of a cartoon critical of Bezos (www.npr.org/2025/01/04/n...), My subscription goes elsewhere.
A Pulitzer winner quits 'Washington Post' after a cartoon on Bezos is killed
Washington Post cartoonist Ann Telnaes resigned after an editor rejected her sketch satirizing tech chiefs, including the Post's owner and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
