The beautiful Pharaoh Cleocatra Ptolmy I is 9 years old today!

I'm so lucky to have been a part of her life for 8.5 of those. She's the best little mau, my cuddle buddy and listener of workday woes, who sets bedtime for me when she demands I hold her paws.

I guess also not directly dealing with the stress of Cleocatra’s ongoing medical battle also has contributed a lot in the reduced fatigue. I still get updates from home but I’m not a wreck sobbing thinking about if she’ll be okay like I was last holiday when her illness really got bad.

Please let it be known my local (to work) pet store where I go get Cleocatra’s food colloquially know me as the ‘classic vampire (lady)’ because of how long my hair is and my usual attire whenever I do a stock up run. This fact tonight has absolutely made my day.
