The Las Cruces DDLM was fun too on Sat nite. Not on the scale of Mesilla but still a fun community event in the evening.

Glad they saw the Ballet Folklorico.

Also, Ivonne at Palomas was so happy to see us. If you can go, please do. She needs our support.

I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley. I didn’t see DdlM observed in public. Most of the time, the local churches had a Harvest Festival or a Hallelujah Night.

No one really observed DdlM in a very public way. Observing it in the sanctuary seems… bizarre!

Pflugerville Pride's DDLM Event is in the Books - Theme for the Altar was "Todos Somos Mariposas/We're All Butterflies".

There was a lot of love put into this Altar Exhibit and it touched all those that dropped by to reflect on on those that have passed before us.

Until recently I had not really seen them. I suppose because I just didn't pay attention to DdlM. I kinda like the horses and looking at the real women dressed as Catrina.
