Furry art isn't fantasy because it has idealized body proportions or amazing, sometimes impractical intimate relationships its fantasy because all these OCs manage to have the same day off from work or don't need jobs to begin with

There’s definitely something about the proportions, (I don’t know the technical term) the grey terrace houses seem wider than normal and the lime/sandstone around the bay windows are just distinctively Bristol

To generalise very broadly, a lot of Bristol architecture from the 19th century was slightly amateurish. Incorrect proportions. Slightly peculiar decoration. And of course there's the yellowish stone, which is definitely not red brick, or London stock brick.

The fit and finish on the Watchdives is comparable to the 2.5x expensive San Martin SN0121T-GA (itself a Watchdives collaboration), but the proportions are closer to my Tudor Pelagos especially the bezel ring edge thickness. The use of 316L vs titanium is less apparent on the watch head vs the strap

I was interning while doing research on violence in the gay community et al. Domestic violence in gay relationships male or female was reaching epidemic proportions back then and members of the community were regularly victimized by homophobes.

Okay, this one has much simpler shapes! And i think I'm getting better at the proportions. 😁 The whole face should be pink, but i messed that up by trying to add shadows and there was no going back! 😅

The general design and concept still hold up rather well, despite several wonky proportions 🙃 I still look back fondly on this one, Link is definitely quite the noble fantasy hero Shaney would look up to~ And his quest is made a lot easier with Navi's usually yappy mouth having a paci shoved in it 🤣
