50-100 million people listen to & watch public radio & TV. Total revenue of all public media--the 900 local radio stations + NPR, PRX & APM, all 350 local TV stations + PBS--are maybe $6 billion. Of which the government has provided $500 million. The ignoramuses' defunding is a blow, but not fatal.

First day back at WDAV after battling bronchitis, walking pneumonia & a sinus infection for a full month. Haven’t left the house and I’m already short of breath. 🤬 I have to remind myself to take it slow & easy these first few weeks back.
