My BFF in HS Lori and I (with others) would get high as fuck, Catholic Church on 🍄‍🟫 Tea before School at Etna High CA. Why? Only way you could make through Mr. Websters typing class in the morning. And his Math class. Guy was an asshole. Don’t worry it wore off before lunch.

Not good when you back yourself into an antisemitism, and then, after getting called out on it, you just retreat to "oh yeah, well, websters dictionary defines..."

I never owned a multi-volume encyclopedia, but the library I worked for had them right up until the time I retired, so I will say zero. And I still own an ink-and-paper dictionary, it is here within arm's reach, and I pre-ordered the Merriam-Websters Collegiate, 12th ed.

I hope that websters includes an image of trump next to the word gaudy. Good lord this man has terrible taste and judgement.
Trump is now fighting in the Supreme Court to stop SNAP hunger payments, which affects one in four kids in America, as well as seniors and people with disabilities.

Trump also left for Mar-a-Lago, and wow have you seen his gilded gold bathroom sinks?

"There's an inflationary level that's built in to grocery prices."

Websters:
2. Economics
a general increase in prices and fall in the purchasing value of money.

It seems inflation is only bad when a Democrat can be blamed.

Merriam-Websters:
Socialism:

a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state

So no, I think socialism cannot lift people up, when you use that definition.

Totally, words mean specific things. Not whatever you want them to. Justices tend to use Merriam-Websters always.

The first monologue from The Colbert Report, from Oct. 17, 2005 is where he coined "Truthiness."

Dems need only a handful of decent Repubs to support the Motion to Vacate. Websters Dictionary has “decent Repubs” next to the definition of oxymoron. Soooo…likely no luck.
November 2, 2025 at 9:24 PM
My thoughts exactly. You saved my typing that, thanks! But i did want to add that the new websters dictionary should have this picture beside the word False. Explains the definition better than all else.
