First Spaceship on Venus (1960) An East German/Polish science fiction film

Of the early sci fi films I've seen this one stood out with its visually appealing, almost modern rocket launch special effects... most of the movie was 'sufficiently ok', but that rocket launch was excellent.

I need to say how insane this is bc I graduated from college in Dec 2024 with a degree in agricultural science and no professional experience with art. I literally said fuck my degree not even 2 weeks after getting it and put myself out there with something else 😂😂 I couldn't have predicted this

i’m not an authority on the matter, but i try to describe the main points that are relevant to the post without getting verbose, it’s probably more of an art than a science.

Enjoy. It’s an art and a science. We usually add the yeast and water to one cup of flour, with a little sugar, and let that get foamy and activated first. Then mix in your flour till it feels “right”. For most doughs, it should kind of feel like an ear lobe! Have fun!

Most people I know got Alzheimer after decades of Apathy Not all of them; but a majority. No interest in learning, exercise, science, art/crafts, history. Some got a degree, but never read a book after grad.
Apathy a result or a symptom of early Alzheimer?

I believe faith and science can coexist in the human experience, like sled dogs, as long as they pull us in the same direction. I need that direction to be art, progress, compassion, and healing. This story restores me in both faith and hope for science.
GOOD NEWS! Researchers have shown Alzheimer’s disease can be REVERSED- not just prevented. Using a potent neuroprotective compound called P7C3-A20, they found RESTORING balance to a central cellular energy molecule (NAD+) not only PREVENTED disease features but REVERSED them, EVEN at late stages.

Perhaps as they say in science love is a reaction, and in art, it is a heart, but for me, love is simply you.
