It's wonderful to see Tipperary ranked fifth in Lonely Planet's Top 25 Places to Visit in 2026 list!

As we're based in Clonmel, I have to admit to a bit of bias, but the Premier County has so much to offer.

Here are just a few of my recommendations to consider for your trip to Tipp!

Leadership & sparks: Fr Nicholas Sheehy (Clogheen) sympathises; a Protestant attorney Fant fans grievances. By 1763, Tipperary has 14,000+ involved; spread to Cork, Limerick, Kilkenny, Waterford (rumours further afield).

From Clogheen to Western Australia, this beautiful share certificate from Paringa Mines (a gold mine) November 1909.
It's a piece of early 20th-century investment in a company operating between Kalgoorlie, Australia, and London.
