What if he learns how to grow baby cukes specifically so he can use them like rollers. He heats them up on the fire and Ed helps him put them in and wrap them with fabric. It's a learning curve he does wind up covered in warm zucchini pulp a few times when Ed ties them too tight

Tinned fish on toast, a Frannie classic. This one: sourdough + thinly sliced cukes dressed in sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, sesame seeds, ginger, gochugaru, cilantro, green onion + chili ginger mackerel + sriracha + furukake.

Today’s harvest in a Santa Monica Garden loooong dark green cukes: Japanese, pale: Armenian, brown roots are my absolute favorite “Fall” crop: sunchokes AKA Jerusalem artichokes. You get sunflowers first, they are nutty and absolutely delicious simply sautéed with butter. See alt text for more. 🌱

This happened to me last year in my pots. Zukes grew. There were A TON of male flowers on the cukes and then it just stopped growing. Never had issues with cukes ever till recently. It must be the heat or something.

final shishito harvest, and maybe final mini bell pepps? theres still green ones on the plant, we'll see, idk their cold tolerance, im going to leave them on a little longer but if they start to look cold damaged i'll harvest. and then the final (small and chilly) cukes (!) and eggplants 💜

When I don’t feel like cooking I reach for canned fish. Tonight, imported Spanish tuna in olive oil over mixed greens, feta, tomatoes, cukes and radishes with lemon juice and Espelette pepper. 🍽️🍜

#VeganFood #WhatVegansEat #VeganBaking Breadmaker bread still warm so it wasn't the firmest best hanawiti bread, but this was the meal of my wiki. Homemade aioli, grated carrots, capsicum, green beans, sprouts, avocado, cukes and gherkins. Basically veges were falling out everywhere but delicious.
