Really enjoyed getting to participate in open source development with the team from COS! Pretty soon, you'll be able to connect an OSF component to DataPipe (pipe.jspsych.org) directly through your OSF account.

I created DataPipe (pipe.jspsych.org) in part to make it possible to host online experiments for free. The docs give an example of how to host for free on github and use datapipe to send data to the OSF.

I use JsPsych! In my opinion, it is a little easier to use out of the box than PsychoPy. It is really customizable (incl complex randomization), works with DataPipe, and is open source!

Thanks to the DataPipe plugin (pipe.jspsych.org), the data can be automatically uploaded to OSF (born-open!) so that wouldn't be an issue!

Nope, I have never tried! I've only tried DataPipe which brings the data to OSF automatically -- you could run analysis in R that pulls the data from the repo?

This is still in ideation, but contributions will be recognised in the long-term. The idea is to have code with relevant publications alongside the demos working in-browser. I might even try DataPipe it so citizens can freely participate and a massive born-open dataset of these tasks is created.

Just released: DataPipe now allows you to select what region (US, EU, Canada, Australia) the OSF data is stored in.

I made this tool that I think is pretty useful if you are running online experiments and using the OSF. It's free. And open source. And you can use other free tools with it to run an online experiment for free.

ahh interessante... Vou dar uma estudada! eu tenho hospedado em serviços tipo surge / netlify, com dados salvos em projetos OSF via DataPipe, mas tem espaço para melhoria aí (o DataPipe permite enviar dados, mas não lê-los de volta... Em alguns casos seria útil, e de repente esse Jatos permite?)
