It is indeed a great gastro pub with an interesting history. Known as ‘The Jungle’ to Leithers in the 1960’s and 70’s, so it has definitely changed its mood, cuisine and clientele since then. #Leith #edinburghwalks

Metal ring - or lug - on the Bondside at Leith Docks, Leith. It lies beside the Old East Dock,completed by 1806 but filled in by the early 1970’s.
