Love this guy! And since I first saw him on TV, he’s always reminded me of my taid (grandfather). After he got older ofc.
Giant of a man, & always a Player’s No6 cigarette between his fingers. 🚬
He was also Antifa & proud.

🌍 James Robert Squires' journey might have taken him far beyond England. A connection to a Royal Welsh Fusilier with the same name born in 1872 surfaces, suggesting military service in India. Unraveling the threads of his life involves piecing together scattered clues. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇮🇳 #AncestralStory #MilitaryHi

i'm really, really proud of lieutenant fusilier as a book, but the pitch is like... constructed with pinpoint precision to be completely impossible to sell

like, it's somewhere between incomprehensible and downright repulsive unless you are a trans lesbian that read the Sharpe series as a kid

To ride, to fight
A fusilier
To dream of a time
Where free he'd live
No crown of gold or
crown of thorns
Just reason determined
His path forward

Now one brave mother,
Crafts signs, not flags
To protest the disappeared
And in her plight
Her neighbours fight
A cold oppression
With her.

With HE fire from the Panzer and mortar, along with a sustained fire MG34 pouring more misery on the Royal Irish Fusilier positions, as a flank attack crashed home the situation became untenable, and their Force Morale began collapsed giving victory to the Germans. #spreadthelard

The British kept their power dry and waited for the Germans to offer a flank. They opened up hitting the Panzer II but failing to penetrate until the 3rd shot. This gave the Germans the opportunity to respond in kind a return fire, resulting in in the death of the gunners’ J/L…

"Congreve Rocket System Forward Artillery Mech" (CRSFAM-UK). "Cacadore-class Light Mech" (CLM-PT). "Fusilier-class Line Mech" (FLM-UK). "Parrott Rail System Mobile Artillery Mech" (PRSMAM-US). (I know I'm starting to dip into the mid-18th for terminology.) I'll stop, I'll stop.

Well-known for being able to pay for the cost of the Virus trap cards. The effect lets you set it face-down without Tribute, but the game state still recognizes Fusilier as having its full stats until it is flipped up. So it is still a valid cost while facedown for the Virus Traps.

The Fusilier Museum in Warwick covers the Warwickshire Regiment. Monty and Slim were commissioned into this regiment. If you add in Archibald Nye as Deputy CIGS, then you could argue, as the volunteers in the museum do, that the Warwickshire’s won WW2. 👏😂👏
