Small Emerald! 2nd Irish record, in the garden by the moth trap Blackrock Cork. Only other record from over a century ago (1899). Thanks to Eamon O’Donnell, Mothsireland for confirming the ID. The date is at the tail end of the flying season so it’s remarkably fresh looking. Absolute beauty!
