murphy has been the steam release valve for the party’s base. that’s his function. i see folks are coming around on that
I got back to my office after the vote last night and recorded this. There's no way to sugarcoat what happened. And my fear is that Trump gets stronger, not weaker, because of this acquiescence. I'm angry - like you. But I choose to keep fighting.

considering that after all this time, steam still hasn't added back in the furry store page tag, I just assume valve has a weird set of double-standards about overtly furry games

I have incidental issues with the Steam Deck's controls, namely the dpad isn't great, but from an ergonomics perspective it's well thought-out, and even going from the LCD model to the OLED you saw some notable improvements to the fundamentals. I trust Valve would nail it.

valve loves making games for some of the most toxic genres imaginable (ccgs with artifact, moba, tac shooter) and then their hands off, non-existent moderation and shitty anticheat just make every game a fucking cesspool of the worst motherfuckers on steam.

I’ve been a Democrat since high school. I need to look into another party. The eight senators who caved probably picked from Scrabble pieces in a bag. This is political theater. Controlled opposition to give Dems a valve for letting off steam.
We’re not going to “fix the Democrats’ brand” by doing TikToks or launching pods. The brand is a direct reflection of our elected officials. If we want to purge our weak branding, we have to purge the weak Dems. I’m looking forward to a robust primary cycle and new Democrats who know how to fight.

The Steam Store is finally wider for all users!

Valve took the liberty to update how game trailers and screenshots carousel are presented for the user. They also updated game descriptions tools for developers, made UI adjustments across many Steam pages such as "Recommender" Store Hub tags etc!

It's really funny how CEOs are claiming that Valve/Steam are basically a monopoly in the PC gaming space when in reality, they're not even doing any of the usual tactics companies would try and do anyway to gain a monopoly, they're literally just really good at what they do and aren't squandering it

This will never happen in a million years, but could you imagine if Sony sees what Xbox is trying to pivot to so they partner with Valve to have crossbuy on Steam and add remote play integration with the Steam Deck, blowing Microsoft's legs off at the knee.

Installed Steam, symlinked the Steam library from the Win11 drive(s), presto!

The few games I've loaded so far "just worked"™️ and looked to be rock solid.

Very impressed. Hats off to Valve.
